GROWING & LIGHTING MANAGEMENT IN THE POULTRY FARM

WATER MANAGEMENT

*Drinker -50 birds /drinker or Nipple -8 to 10 birds /Nipple 

WATER RESTRICTION

*From 6 to 14 week of age  water  restriction can be based on climatic condition .

*In hot summer the restriction need not be done.

*Chicks for nipple air lock during opening the water line .

*When water restriction is done ensure  that water is available at least 3 hour after complete feed intake .The restriction can be done in the following hours.

*Morning :10 am to 1:00 pm 

*Evening :2:00 to 4:00 pm 

DRINKER & NIPPLE CLEANING

*Keep the empty bucket below the drinker /nipple cup,tilt the water form the drinker into the empty bucket ,dip the brush into the bleaching powder and  clean  the entire drinker/nipple cup

*In case  if the high salt deposition ,Remove  the drinker out and can be cleaned with  HCL and dried in sunlight .

*Cleaning agent  to be used  is bleaching powder .Auto-drinker :The cleaning  is to be  done twice day  and the nipple  cup  tank -should be  cleaned with  bleaching powder  once in a day.

*Have always substitute drinker while doing cleaning of drinkers. Slightly toggle  drinker once in a day to check the air lock condition. If not clean or replace with the new one. Check and arrest leakage during nipple clean the hi as per the the normal and adjust it has required. NCERT the sanitize water is provide to the birds always.monitor and adjust the drinker per nipple to the height of the birds accordingly. Maintain the correct watering space as per number of birds. Monitor ka follow rate are regular intervals.

LIGHTING MANAGEMENT

to utilise the birds response to the day length and light intensity so that maturity and option  productivity performance man bi stimulated and control to achieve optimum effect.

the artificial lighting program is done by switching on the light for certain hours after natural sunlight hours. After the birds attend the the specified body with and age.

At present first stimulation is given a 80% to 90% of birds of the clock attend the stipulated average weight of 2650 to 22800 grams. But for female 15 the program is best on HDP bodyweight and season . In case of any power generator may be utilised during the artificial lighting created. Fix bulb at height of 6 feet from the leader 1 watt for 4 square feet. Intensity of light around 40 to 60 lux.

17 hours by increasing 1 hour in evening time preferably winter for monsoon start. During lighting hours the in project all the ball glows properly.if any of the following does not blow it has to be informed to the maintenance to correctly any same.

Cleaning of valve is to be done monthly once.

If any of the bulb does not glow it has to be here or replace immediately.Over the ball folder area with insulation to avoid getting wet during fogging.bol should be equally place and illumination should we inform.
